With fewer than 90 days until the presidential election, Democrats are continuing to focus on Pennsylvania in their effort to get Hillary Clinton elected.

EMILY’s List President Stephanie Schriock made several stops in the state this week to speak with Clinton supporters. On Wednesday, she visited the Democratic coordinated campaign office in Doylestown, where she addressed about 50 supporters and volunteers.

“Donald Trump has made it clear — this is his path to victory, right here (in Pennsylvania),” Schriock said. “The stakes in this race are simple. We’re going to decide who we are as a nation and who we want to be.”

Schriock emphasized a grassroots approach, urging supporters to participate in phone banks and have one-on-one conversations with their friends and neighbors about the campaign.

EMILY’s List is a political action committee that supports pro-choice female Democrats. Another candidate gaining the PAC’s support is Katie McGinty, who is running a tight race against incumbent U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania.

“It is a must-win on the path to a Democratic majority,” Schriock said, which would allow Clinton, if elected, to more easily establish the party’s agenda.

Schriock also visited offices in Philadelphia and Norristown. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards also made appearances throughout the area. They emphasized focusing on independent or Republican women in the counties surrounding Philadelphia.

“These counties are critical to any national election,” she said. “As these counties go, often goes the election for the presidency.”

In addition to these visits, the Clinton campaign announced its Pennsylvania Women for Hillary leadership council this week.

The list includes state Rep. Tina Davis, Bucks Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, Bucks Democratic Women’s Forum President Georgette Helbling and Middletown Supervisor Amy Strouse.

“Donald Trump and Mike Pence would be an absolute disaster for women and their families. Their dangerous rhetoric and policies prove that they have no interest in defending women’s rights,” Ellis-Marseglia said. “Hillary Clinton is the only candidate with a track record of championing women’s rights and as president I am confident she will have our backs at every turn.”
