Pennsbury Manor, 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road in Morrisville, will have free admission on March 13 to celebrate Pennsylvania’s birthday.
The Charter Day activities will include colonial craftspeople in period clothing demonstrating blacksmithing, joinery and beer brewing. There will also be a display of 17th-century foods and a demonstration of hearth cooking. Tours of the Manor House, the recreated home of William Penn, will also be available.
Pennsbury Manor will also be holding a food drive on Charter Day to benefit the Bucks County Housing Group’s Penndel Food Pantry. Visitors are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to contribute.
